Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park & Evening Game Drive
Your safari begins with pick-up from Kigali by your professional safari guide before transferring to Akagera National Park in eastern Rwanda. Enjoy scenic views of Rwanda’s rolling hills, local villages, and countryside landscapes along the journey. Upon arrival at the park, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch before heading out for an exciting evening game drive in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, and other wildlife species. After the game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Boat Safari on Lake Ihema – Transfer Back to Kigali

Later, enjoy a relaxing boat safari on Lake Ihema where you may spot hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species along the lake shores.
