Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Your Rwanda safari adventure begins with pick-up from Kigali by your professional safari guide before transferring to Nyungwe Forest National Park in southwestern Rwanda. Along the scenic drive, enjoy breathtaking views of Rwanda’s rolling hills, tea plantations, local villages, and countryside landscapes. Optional stopovers may include cultural visits or sightseeing experiences before arriving at your lodge near Nyungwe Forest for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking & Canopy Walk
After an early breakfast, head into the lush rainforest of Nyungwe National Park for an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience accompanied by experienced ranger guides. As you search for habituated chimpanzees, you may also spot other primates, colorful birds, and forest wildlife. Day 3: Transfer to Lake Kivu
